QSFP28 100G Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables are high-performance, cost-effective solutions for connecting servers, routers, and switches in the same rack or adjacent cabinet. These cables designed for short distances of up to 5m and enable 100G link connectivity using QSFP28 ports.

Passive QSFP28 DAC cables are supplied in fixed lengths of 0.5m, 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m, and 5m but can also be made by our team to a custom length if required.

100GBASE-CR4 transmission

QSFP28 DAC cables contain 4 x transmit and receive channels at 25Gp/s per channel and operate using a single +3.3V power supply .

Compliance

All QSFP28 100G DAC cables are compliant with MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standards SFF-8665, IEEE802.3bj and InfiniBand EDR.

Vendor/OEM compatibility

These QSFP28 100G DAC cables can be programmed to be compatible with all major switch and server brands, such as Arista, Cisco, Dell, HP, and Juniper (see full list of options above). Complete Connect DAC cables have a 5-year warranty and a 90-day guarantee to test compatibility.

We can offer a cross compatibility service allowing multiple vendors to be connected from the same DAC direct connect cable. For example, end A could be programmed to be compatible with Arista while end B could be programmed to work with Mellanox.
