Internal Pre-Terminated Fibre
Internal Pre-Terminated Fibre
Complete Connect’s internal pre-terminated fibre cables are designed for use in clean environments within buildings. Suitable for connecting data and server racks through underfloor voids and overhead cable trays, our indoor pre-terminated fibre cables support the installation of multiple duplex connections between data cabinets, quickly and easily.
Using pre-terminated cables for indoor fibre networks helps to cut the installation time and cost while removing potential installation complexities. Pre-terminated fibre solutions allow you to build structured horizontal subsystems and main backbones across floors and in primary risers without the need for assembly on-site. We can supply our internal pre-term fibre cables in custom lengths, which are also available on reels if required, using a wide range of popular connectors such as LC, SC, ST, etc.
For creating internal links connecting fibre patch panels or direct equipment terminations, our internal fibre range includes tight buffered fibre cables, Hydra fibre cables, and our highly popular modular cassette series – the MX Xpress.
Tight Buffered Fibre Cables
- Typically used in short and intermediate connections (<100m) at a comparatively low cost
- Optimised for tighter cable routing in internal applications such as small LANs and data centres
- Singlemode, OM3 and OM4 in 4 to 24-core
MX Xpress
- Ready-to-use and easy to install modular pre-terminated fibre cassettes
- For rapid development of high-speed networks in data centres and between data cabinets
- Can combine singlemode and multimode connectivity with MTP 40G and 100G links
Hydra Fibre Cables
- High performance breakout cables for point-to-point device connectivity
- Bespoke length and tail constructions available
- Available using common connector types such as LC, SC, ST, FC and E2000
Key Features of Internal Pre-Terminated Fibre
We manufacture indoor fibre optic cables using tight buffered, microcore cable constructions in core sizes ranging from 4 to 48-cores.
These cable designs are engineered to accommodate maximum flexibility during installation. Using BIF (Bend Insensitive Fibre) in Corning Clearcurve (multimode) or SMF28e (singlemode) makes them better suited for tolerances in tight spaces found in many indoor environment installations.
As CPR compliance is now a key consideration in many commercial and public buildings, our internal pre-terminated fibre cables meet and exceed the required standard for fire safety, with fibre cable ratings ranging up to B2ca.
