40G Deloyment

As 40G switches (40G-BASE-SR4) become an integral part of most networks there is a growing requirement to be able to connect these to 10G switches and servers.

Often a number of servers are located in the same rack and so presentation of multiple 10G ports within top-of-rack panels is required.

M400 Modular Cassettes have two functions
  • Enable existing 10G MTP trunks to be used to transmit 40G to 10G ports
  • Connect new 40G trunks to multiple 10G ports
