M1000 100G mulitmode patch cords offer connectivity over for SR10 transmission.

Typically

Direct connection between two 100G CISCO CPAK multimode transceiver ports (unpinned connectors) using an MPO/MTP 24 fibre connector.
Connection from a 100G MPO/MTP trunk cable to a CISCO CPAK SR10 transceiver port (typically pinned and unpinned connectors)

Compatibility with transceiver modules
  1. All CPAK 100GBase-SR10 transceiver modules have ports with male connections (with guide pins).
  2. The MPO/MTP cable needs a female connector (no pins)
  3. Transceivers from the leading switch CISCO all use an MT 24 fibre ferrule.
  4. All Complete Connect 100G cables use the MT Elite 24 fibre ferrule within the MTP connector. This provides the best optical connection with all major CFP transceivers. Some MPO connectors wont perform as well.
Cleaning MPO/MTP cables and transceiver ports
  1. Complete Connect recommend using an IBC Branded MTP cleaning tool for cleaning all MTP cables and CFP transceiver ports.
  2. Complete Connect will supply this free of charge on orders of four or more 100G cables
Maximum transmission distances
  1. The IEEE standard states that 100G can be transmitted at the following distances: OM3 less than 100m; OM4 less than 150m.
Testing using Loopback adaptor cables
  1. 100G loopback cables can be used to test individual components or networks.
