QSFP+ 40G PIR4 TRANSCEIVERS

PIR4 Transmission up to 2km

Intermediate range 40Gbp/s over singlemode (9/125) fibre

The QSFP+ 40G PIR4 transceiver is a reliable, high-speed solution created to transmit data to and from data centres, other enterprise networks and distribution layer applications. These transceivers have a transmission distance of up to 2km over singlemode (9/125) fibre at a wavelength of 1310nm via an MTP/MPO- 12 connector.

40GBASE-PIR4 transmission

The QSFP+ 40G PIR4 transceiver transmits data using four independent channels at an aggregate data rate of 40 Gbp/s and operates by a single +3.3V power supply.

Vendor/OEM compatibility

These transceivers can be programmed to be compatible with all major switch and server brands, such as Arista, Cisco, HP, Dell and Juniper (see full list of options above). Complete Connect transceiver modules have a 5-year warranty and a 90-day guarantee to test transceiver compatibility.

Having the correct compatibility coding programmed on to your 3rd party optical transceiver will ensure that networking equipment that it is being used in will recognise the optic as an authorised and reputable product. Failure to ensure the correct code is loaded can result in continual non-approved hardware alarms being raised via the console or syslog messages or the optic not being authorised to work with the equipment.

All our optical transceivers are programmed and tested with a special compatibility code that is known as a vendor compatibility EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory).
