The Complete Connect range of QSFP28 100G transceivers is designed for high-speed data applications across data centre and enterprise networking applications.

QSFP28 means Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable 28, with Quad referring to the four channels of 25Gbp/s (up to 28Gbp/s), giving an aggregate of 100Gbp/s.

MULTIMODE QSFP28 100G TRANSCEIVERS USING MPO (8 FIBRES)

100GBASE-SR4 TRANSCEIVER MODULES

QSFP28 SR4 transceivers are capable of transmitting 4 x 25G channels simultaneously up to 70m over OM3 or 100m over OM4. The modules use 8 fibres (4 fibre pairs) with an MPO interface and a 12-fibre MPO-style MTP® connector (4 fibres unused), which makes them capable of breaking out to 4 x 25G ports.

SINGLEMODE QSFP28 100G TRANSCEIVERS USING MPO (8 FIBRES)

100GBASE-PSM4 TRANSCEIVER MODULES

QSFP28 PSM4 transceivers transmit up to 2km over singlemode (9/125) fibre. Using an MPO-12 port (MTP® connector with 12 fibres), QSFP28 PSM4 transceivers can connect to another 100G port or breakout to 4 x 25G ports using an MTP® (MPO) to LC breakout cable.

100GBASE-CWDM4 TRANSCEIVER MODULES

QSFP28 CWDM4 transceivers transmit and receive up to 2km over 4 x 25Gbp/s channels to give an aggregate of 100Gbp/s. CWDM4 transceivers use four separate wavelengths (1270nm to 1330nm) using a singlemode (9/125) LC duplex fibre pair.

Transceivers for long distance transmission use 4 x 25Gbp/s channels at four separate wavelengths over an LC duplex singlemode (9/125) fibre pair. They are typically used for connections in data centres, between buildings and transport networks.
